Light Drawing

Light Drawings start as photographic images, as can only be created with light and movement. Related to the Luminous Emptiness series they are created with slow shutter speeds and gesturing with the camera. As my Parkinson’s disease has progressed rather than resorting to tripods and remote shutter, I chose to embrace the shake. These images express the fluidity of awareness and the multi-faceted experience of perception that is our true nature.  Within the motion and gesture there is stillness.
