Contemplative Photography Class

$150.00

7 week online Zoom class

September 15 – October 27

Thursdays, 6:30 pm – 8 pm Central US

The Zoom sessions will include perception exercises, sample images for each week’s content and review of student images and discussion.

Sharpen your visual awareness and improve your photography using a contemplative approach to seeing the world as it is. Each week we will work with an aspect of visual perception; color, texture, form, light, and space as our subject. Whether photography is your hobby, art media or a starting point for creating in other media, this class will change the way you see the world.  See some examples of Rebekah’s contemplative imagery here.

Rebekah Younger is a multidisciplinary artist, educator, and author of Be, Awake, Create: Mindful Practices to Spark Creativity.  She received an MFA in Interdisciplinary Art from Goddard College in 2008, with a focus on contemplative art practices and the Dharma art teachings of Chögyam Trungpa Rinpoche.
