On the Body

From 1984 – 2011, my canvas was the body and my media was knitting.  I created limited edition garments for women, called Younger Knits.  As part of the art to wear movement, these pieces were sold through galleries, such as Obiko and Mobilia, exhibited at fine craft shows on both coasts and in major retrospective shows of the movement at the Legion of Honor Museum in San Francisco and the DeCordova Museum in Massachussetts.
