Take a break from the speed of daily life with 2 hours of creative and spiritual renewal. Experience what it means to be awake and skilfully work with your world as a creator from open spacious mind, Square One. Join Rebekah Younger, meditation and Shambhala Art instructor, in meditation practice, discussion and opportunities to create individually and collaboratively. Leave reinvigorated and inspired to carry that energy into your personal work and daily life. Instruction in mindfulness and awareness meditation along with teachings influenced by the writings of Chögyam Trungpa Rinpoche from True Perception about mixing creating with meditative mind included in each session. For all levels of art and meditation experience and art forms (visual, performance, written).

Come sit, listen to a brief dharma talk and discussion with peers and engage in creative play and awareness exercises.
Talk Topic – Square One in the Creative Process
What is it? How do we find it? How does it relate to meditation and art? We’ll explore this in conversation and experiential activity.
We’ll meet twice a month with a different topic and activity each Saturday. Basic meditation instruction included at the beginning of each session.
