Square One Saturday – Seeing Things as They Are

Take a break from the speed of daily life with 2 hours of creative and spiritual renewal. Experience what it means to be awake and skillfully work with your world as a creator from open spacious mind, Square One. Join Rebekah Younger, meditation and Shambhala Art instructor, in meditation practice, discussion and opportunities to create individually and collaboratively. Leave reinvigorated and inspired to carry that energy into your personal work and daily life. Instruction in mindfulness and awareness meditation along with teachings influenced by the writings of Chögyam Trungpa Rinpoche from True Perception about mixing creating with meditative mind included in each session. For all levels of art and meditation experience and art forms (visual, performance, written).
Suggested donation $10.+ for materials Drop-ins welcome. Contribution is optional.
Come sit, listen to a brief dharma talk and discussion with peers and engage in creative play and awareness exercises in the intimate setting of Portal 18, Yoga Studio. Space is limited so register early!
We’ll meet twice a month with a different topic and activity each Saturday. Basic meditation instruction included at the beginning of each session.
